Research description:
My research focuses on identifying new precursors for hard carbon anodes in Sodium-ion batteries.
Bio:
I grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland and remained on the east coast for my undergraduate degree at Williams College. There I studied the randomness of rainfall on short length and time scales for applications in Liverwort reproduction with Professor Katharine Jensen. I also worked with Professor Catherine Kealhofer to study phonons in graphene via ultrafast electron diffraction. In my free time, I enjoy swimming, taking walks by the beach, and knitting sweaters.
